As part of our continued commitment to cybersecurity and safeguarding sensitive information, Multifactor Authentication (MFA) will become mandatory for all users accessing the Vermont Mutual Agent Connection starting August 22, 2025. MFA adds an extra layer of protection by requiring users to verify their identity using more than just a password.

MFA Options Available:
You will be able to choose from the following authentication methods:
- Email Verification: Receive a one-time code or login link sent to your registered email address.
- Authenticator App: Use a time-based code generated by an app such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator on your mobile device.
- Biometrics: Use fingerprint or facial recognition via a supported device for seamless and secure access.
For the highest level of security, we strongly encourage using an Authenticator App.
Action Required:
On or after August 22nd, 2025, all users will be prompted to:
- Verify their email address
- Enroll in MFA
- Update their user password
Guided Setup: The system will walk you through each step during your first login after the enforcement date. An instructional PDF is also available.
