The Vermont Mutual Charitable Giving Fund supports nonprofit organizations that strengthen the quality of life in Vermont communities.
Where We Give
Our giving is primarily focused on Vermont-based organizations and programs that directly serve Vermonters. As a Vermont company, we believe our greatest impact comes from investing in the people, places, and economy of our home state.
Giving Focus
The Fund supports organizations that help build healthy lives and vibrant communities through four key priorities:
- Promoting Education: Expanding access to education and workforce development opportunities.
- Fostering Youth: Supporting youth development, mentorship, and opportunities for success.
- Strengthening Communities: Investing in programs that enhance Vermont communities, including rural and underserved areas.
- Meeting Basic Needs: Addressing essential needs such as housing, food security, and critical services.

Applications for donation consideration must be submitted through the Fund’s grant application process.

All applications for funding will be reviewed and approved on a quarterly basis by the Fund’s Executive Committee. Grant application deadlines and review meetings are scheduled as follows:
Submission Deadline
February 15 (Review Meeting in March)
May 15 (Review Meeting in June)
August 15 (Review Meeting in September)
November 15 (Review Meeting in December)
